課程概述 |
In this class we review classical thermodynamics and introduce the fundamentals of
statistical thermodynamics and their applications in solving chemical engineering
problems. In particular, we emphasize the concept of equilibrium and a systematic
approach to calculate various types of phase equilibria using thermodynamic models.
The connection between macroscopic thermodynamic properties and microscopic
molecular interactions through statistical thermodynamics will be introduced. |
